Amy’s Manor: Lake Chelan Wedding Photography

Christmas time is time brings out the nostalgia in most of us. My birthday happens to be on the 30th of December, so not only is it the end of a year, it’s also the end of another year of my life. I appreciate having my birthday this time of year so I can look back and see how I have (hopefully) grown over the past year. I also reflect on our photography business. Each year, we work our tails off to make it possible to take December off. Not only is it Christmas, but it’s my birthday, our daughter’s birthday, our anniversary, my sister’s birthday (I am a twin), and Ben’s parent’s anniversary.  It’s just a little busy celebrating our family! Anyway, the time off gives me time to reflect, study art, and think about where we want to take our business in the following year.

Thinking about all the places we have been blessed to photograph a wedding at, one that crosses my mind that I wish we could go back to is Amy’s Manor in Pateros, Washington. Pateros is a small town just north of Chelan. Amy’s Manor is located on a hill overlooking Methow River. Pam, the owner makes amazing food and keeps the grounds in top shape. We photographed a wedding there 2 years ago, but haven’t had the opportunity to go back. If you are a bride thinking about getting married in the greater Chelan area, you should check out Amy’s Manor…and then call us 🙂
