Andrew and Andrea (A2 as they are affectionately called) were married last weekend at Andrea’s church in Snohomish. Both Andrea and Andrea were very involved in their respective churches, so it was just families coming together, but churches. It was a melding of two very well matched worlds. Every aspect of the wedding was a labor of love by their friends and family. Andrea’s dress was made by her older sister! It took her of 3 seasons of her favorite tv show to get it made, but she enjoyed creating this very special outfit for Andrea. The bridesmaid dresses were also handmade! They decided against the customary cake and went for cheesecake instead, which was also made by a friend. They had both pastors of their churches officiate the wedding. These two are very well loved and it showed in people’s desire to help with their big day.
A very special moment of the day was their first kiss. Literally. They chose to wait until their wedding day to kiss. Andrew, an avid Indiana Jones fan brought his hat for the special occasion. Right as they kissed for the first time, he grabbed his hat while the Indiana Jones music played! It was very fun and so special. We were so thankful to photograph their wedding and wish them all the best! Hope you are having fun in Canada!
