Ben and I are members of the Professional Photographers of Washington. It is an affiliate of the Professional Photographers of America. Every year there are 2 conferences that bring us all together. This year the Fall Conference was held in Leavenworth, Washington. It is a great time for us to sit and soak up some new knowledge, geek out on gear, and seeing how other photographers run their business. The main speaker, Brady Campbell from Couer D’Alene, Idaho along with his staff did an amazingĀ job inspiring us (and they are pretty funny too)! Ben and I had a great time getting to see old friends, meeting new ones, and watching Brady work as we all followed along on and e-session. Our friend and fellow photographer, Gavin Seim, was nice enough to take a couple photos of us while we were hanging out during the photo shoot shoot. Check out his site here.
I’m about to punch Gavin out… who knows what for… it could be for a myriad of things! LOL
Striking a pose for the camera. As you can see, this is why we stay behind the lens!
A big part of learning is shooting along side other photographers. We see different angles, different ways to edit, and how to relate to the subjects in the photos.
The head photographer, Brady Campbell, is the man sitting in the middle of the photo.
Here is our friend Gavin Seim, looking at his most recent shots.
