Jordan and Tessa met in Africa! You know, my girlfriends and I were always on the look out for a sweet gentlemen to buy us our next cup of coffee at the coffee shop. However, most ladies don’t think they will meet the love of their life while on a humanitarian aid trip to a third world country! Tessa is from Washington State and Jordan from New York. Thanks to Skype they were able to have a solid long distance relationship once they got back to America. The wedding was held at Amy’s Manor in Pateros, WA, just a short drive from Chelan. It was overcast and threatened to rain a couple times throughout the day, but thankfully the stormy weather held off for this outdoor ceremony and reception. The toasts given by both the best man and maid of honor were very touching and thoughtful. This was one of those weddings where I walked away feeling such an over abundance of joy and love all around. Such sweet memories for the family. The last song that played before their grand exit was “Home” by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. The main lyrics saying “home is wherever I am when I am with you” which was the perfect song for this cross-country, cross-Atlantic couple. All our best to Jordan and Tessa!
Pam Ahl, the owner of Amy’s Manor has done a beautiful job of decorating the house and keeping the garden looking beautiful. I loved this old time country feel of her place.

Tessa found these super cute dresses on Etsy. Each dress could be tied on top in like 10 different ways. It was interesting watching all the girls try and figure out how they wanted to wear it. They all did a great job, each girl with a unique and vibrant twist!
How can you not just love this venue?! We wanted a few more pictures of just the two of them and thought if we walked into the barn we could be a little more alone. So glad we did! What wonderfully romantic spot.
Pam makes the best food that we have tasted at a wedding yet. She is passionate about good food and it shows!
Lavender was thrown at the happy couple as they left. It smelled wonderful afterward. Lavender has to be one of my all time favorite smells!
