I am a distant relative to Mary Hansen, owner of One Stop Bridal. Well, not really, but kind of. She is my husband’s cousin’s wife’s mom. Hey, it’s Wenatchee; everyone knows everyone and your distant relations aren’t so distant- it’s one of the many things that I love about smaller town living. Back in May I walked into her shop to say hi and show her some of our latest work. She happened to just be getting off the phone with Lynn Tuttle of Fleur de lis Floral in Chelan. Lynn is the creator of Weddings at Lake Chelan Bridal Show held at Campbell’s Resort held each year in October (this year it is October 16). Being fairly new to the bridal show world, I hadn’t heard of the show before and later that day called Lynn to get more info. She was just getting things together for this year’s show and needed a photographer to photograph the images for the ad campaign. Ben and I were eager to offer our help. We love weddings and we were happy to build a relationship with another local vendor. We had a blast at Campbell’s Resort in June hanging out with Lynn and her crew, along with a couple of amazing models. The sun was shining, it wasn’t too hot out, and after Campbell’s we headed up to Benson Vineyards and Winery for a second location. Both Campell’s and Benson Vineyards have wonderful staff who were friendly and helpful as we took over their locations. At the end of the day we all celebrated a job well done by sitting back, sampling the cheese platter, looking out over the lake. Thank you, Lynn, for the opportunity to get to know you and we are looking forward to the bridal show in just a month and half!
We started off the morning at the edge of the water. Those shoes matched the flowers perfectly! The umbrella was rented from Bella Umbrella in Seattle. They ship nation wide and have every kind of umbrella to choose from.
Lynn Tuttle did a fantastic job decorating this table.

The shoot was a group effort by many vendors. It is a great privilege to work in this area where there are so many wonderful people to work with. Thank you to One Stop Bridal for lending us a tux, and the man to go in it! 🙂
This is Benson Vineyards, just a couple miles away from Campell’s Resort. There were so many great settings to choose from, it was hard to know where to start.
I just love the look of these 2 images. I learned on black and white film, so it’s always fun to go back to my roots!
