Shantra and Jess were married at Cave B Estate Winery, next to the Gorge. Their love story first began in high school. They even went to a dance together! Their lives went separate ways after high school, but years later they reconnected and this time, the timing was just right! Being a world traveler and having spent time abroad, embraced a travel theme, complete with a globe for the guest “book”. Shantra was hoping to get married in a chapel, but after falling in love with Cave B, they weren’t sure how that would happen. Jess worked diligently to bring a chapel to this vineyard wedding by handcrafting a cross/arbor for the alter. It is a beautifully unique piece of art they now get to keep forever. Under this arbor a close friend recited the Shema Yisrael, a daily prayer that is the centerpiece of Jewish tradition. They also asked for pictures at night. It’s a rare occasion that we get to do a posed photograph for a wedding couple at night. We prayed for stars and were so thankful to see them, out in full force! Shantra and Jess, thank you for allowing us to capture your wedding day. It was a privilege!

When the time came, Shantra opted to turn it into a necklace.A ribbon and picture were placed in Shantra’s mom’s seat to honor her mom who had passed away.Little man was confused on which way he should walk! ha!Each table was named after a country, to go with the travel theme!Jess is a fireman. Shantra surprised him with an ax to cut the cake! It was pretty awesome.
