I had the privilege of co-hosting a baby shower for a good friend of ours last weekend! We decided to go all out, to make it a very special event for everyone. Jessica, the mom-to-be, picked out the colors of pink and gold. With dad being an avid hunter, Jessica decided to decorate baby Austyn’s room with deer and we embraced the woodsy theme as well! We emptied out my friend Jenn’s living room to make space for the shower. The idea was to mix and match everything. We mixed all sorts of glass: mercury glass, milk glass, clear glass, and pink glass. We did 2 sets of chargers and mixed the drink ware as well! As part of the party, we asked the guests to wear pink, gold, or cream to the shower. It was quite the project, but so much fun! Looking forward to baby Austyn making an appearance in a few short weeks!

I first saw the tutorial for this cute baby jar topiary here. The little gingerbread houses were perfect miniature log cabins to go on our woodsy table!
The girls made headbands for Austyn!
