By now anyone who knows us knows how much Ben and I love Alaska. But for those of you who don’t know- we adore Alaska. From the first day of being there on our honeymoon we fell in love with pretty much everything that Alaska has to offer. And now, after meeting Chris and Amanda and their native Alaskan families we are even more enamored with Alaska! Chris and Amanda met at their work and it was only a matter of time until they fell in love. The week leading up to their wedding was filled with consistently gorgeous, sunny weather. Something that is a bit unusual for that time of year. It is always fun to be in such a public place with a bride. Everyone said a collective “ahhhh, congratulations!” as we stepped onto the tram. Amanda and I made our way up to the top of the mountain to meet Chris and Ben for their first look and I just prayed that the rain would hold off for a few hours. It was such a unique place for photos that I didn’t want them to miss the opportunity! We had fun walking and talking, getting to know them and their story. Meeting at work. Amanda the secretary at Chris’ construction company. It wasn’t long until they knew they were made for each other!
In British culture (which is where Chris’ family is from) it is good luck for the bride to wear 3 pence during the wedding day.
There was a collective “ohhh” as we stepped onto the tram. So fun for Amanda!
